My Baby Needs Help

I went to the track on Wensday night to see what I can run before i started modding. The good was i was able to get 13.4 @ 102 with a pretty stock car. Just a front mount and a 255 pump and ebay bov. The bad was after that run, my car was making a whine noise. So I went to the parking lot and looked under. Nothing. So i drove it back home and noticed that the noise only happen @ 35mph and 55-65mph So the next day when I went to class, I pulled the driveshaft off. There was no noise. Put it back on, and there it was. So I think it the transfer case or the rear diff. I want to get the whole drivetrain rebuild due to the car have 103564 miles and my goal is to have 400 to the wheels. My friend think I will be better off with just doing what needs to be done. My transmission input bearing is also making the click noise with the a/c on. My questions is. Do you guys think i should have the transmission, transfer case and the rear diff rebuilded to stage 1? Or just do with is broken? My car has 103000 miles. I track it to the track once a month. And i want 400hp to the wheel.

Thanks

I'd drive it until sure of where the noise is coming from. It most likely is the TC but you need to know for sure before spending money. As for the AC noise my car sounds like a Freightliner with the AC on - always has since new and the noise is not getting any worse.
