mr bov help...

Wus up fellow evo members! i have a problem that i dont think no one haves the answer to, i have a evo 8 gsr and i upgraded to the mr bov when i changed the bov my evo will almost stall in stop and go traffic or moving in real low rpm's like i drive up to 1500rpms then put back in neutral and it dips down to 200 rpms? then rise up to normal idle the car idles fine its just when im in low revs she wants to stall and its defenitly the bov because i put the leaky plastic one back and problem gone and i read alll the threads that point out this problem but No one found a fix or the cause i have no vac leaks or boost leaks did any one fix this that can help me out thanks.

That's odd, is the car on some funky tune? And did you mean -20 at idle? If your boost gauge reads 20psi at idle your gauge is hooked up wrong or you need a new one.

Mhm... Have you checked the bov hose for any tears? Sounds like there could be a small leak somewhere

i replaced the hose to the bov but if it is a leak shouldn't my vac read lower than -20 at idle or idle funny?
