noob question
hi, i know this is a noob question but i want to know whats a built block? is it a aftermarket block or something like that?..the reason im asking is that im planning to get the ams 2.3l stroker kit will it work with my stock block or do i need a completly new block? thanks!
First of all why the hell do you want the AMS 2.3 stroker kit for if you don't know what it does?
Now to answer your question....
A "built" block is generally considered as strengthening the engine internals of an existing engine. The engine "block" will be re-used assuming it is in healthy condition otherwise a new short block may be needed. Your stock block can be used if it is working fine.
Now why the heck do you even wanna go as far as buying the AMS 2.3 for?
