Hydrolic TOB, anyone?

I'm going to try to make this short!

Just finished putting my car back together after sitting for 2 months.
Built tranny, PTT Twin Disk, and switched to a Hydrolic TOB.

With the car off, the transmission goes into all gears just fine.

Here are the issues:

The car ran fine, shifted like butter for at least 4 days.
Hydrolic system was bled correctly, TOB was shimmed.

Took the car out to tune and ended up going home in a tow truck.

Made a 2nd to 3rd shift, and never made it to 4th gear. I was simply locked out of all gears. Towed it home, checked for all possibilities, and nothing.

Took the tranny off the next day, removed and inspected the TOB, everything seemed normal. Fluid was a bit low.

Bolted it back up, bled the system, car drove for a few more miles. Another hard shift attempt and same thing happened.

Brought the car back home and noticed the clutch is not fully disengaging. If you start the car in 1st gear it wants to lurk forward.

Well, I swapped out the clutch master, and NOTHING.

I am puzzled as to what the issue could be? My next guess would be a pressure plate problem? Maybe the fingers on the pressure plate are damaged? Or the TOB is no 100% extending (Even though it seems to be working 100%).

Has anyone ever had this issue? Any advice would be great. I will be pulling the tranny off once again this week! fml.

Was the clutch new or had alot of miles on it already? Have someone pump the clutch and make sure the clutch fork/slave is moving its full stroke(when its not working properly anyway).....and supposedly if the slave cylinder is bad and leaking it wont let oil leak out it will stay inside the rubber boot so play with the boot where the pin comes out of it and see if its full of brake fluid.....and I would assume you adjusted the clutch pedal in the first place right? Although it doesnt explain why it would be fine then stop disengaging unless you were burning the disc up but you would have known that.

Pedal adjusting has been made.

I do not have a slave/clutch fork any more. This is a hydrolic setup

Maybe the clutch master is leaking internally.

If your flywheel is new you do not need to shim the TOB

Got a pedal stop? You can over extend the TOB and cause damage to the clutch.

Sorry guys. Forgot I had this thread on here!

Master cylinder was replaced and nothing.

I pulled the tranny off again last night. I am going to double check the TOB this weekend.

No pedal stop. I would have to custom make one since I do not have a shift fork...Tons of people saying not needed.

I think the TOB must be shimmed more to get the clutch to disengage.

I visually inspected the pressure plate fingers and they all seem "stiff"

my friends car had trouble with the pedal not coming back up after we bled it. we gravity bled it for a while then we kept bleeding and it finally came up. dont "pump" the pedal, press it, crack the bleeder and repeat. pumping can foam up the fluid and you will never get the air out.
