Exedy stage 2 hd failure in 1500 miles

Installed an Exedy stage 2 hd in my car 1500 miles ago. Have been very happy with this clutch. Until recently, the only single disk clutch I would recommend. That is until recently... I was having serious chatter issues, horrible drive ability, along with lockout and suddenly grinding in the trans at only 1500 miles after install. Clutch was installed, adjusted, and broken in properly. Let's just say, not my first install. I figured the grinding was a direct result from some sort of failure not allowing the disc to completely disengage from the fly and dragging. I was a little off in my guess but here is what I found when I pulled the trans.

I understand that when dealing with aftermarket parts there is no guarantee, and I continue to modify cars based on this regardless. I wanted to post up pictures and get some other opinions. It appears to me there was some type of flaw that didn't allow proper adhesion of the clutch pucks to the disc. My other concern is that I installed this clutch in another Evo owners car a few months ago. Hopefully this clutch was not part of a bad batch. I have attempted to file a warranty claim with Exedy but I must do so with the company in which the clutch was purchased through, haven't gotten a response yet after 5 days, an email and 2 phone calls.

Bump for input from Import DPS. It has been over a week, no one has contacted me. Phone just rings, pms and emails unanswered.

I'm having the same symptoms with the same clutch, with a little more mileage than you

Clutch was purchased through ImportDPS. Upon purchase, the response time was minutes. Yet on the other end of service, I have yet to get a call, email, pm in 2 weeks. Not impressed.

So we deliver on the product and get bashed. Not surprised, I guess now I am warrantying products.

Just email us your order information to sales@importdpsspeedshop.com All you need from us is the proof of purchase, which is your receipt. The warranty and inspection goes directly thru Exedy, not thru us.

Part of sales is service on the back end. Exedy only allows warranty claims filed through the dealer who sold the product. I did not ask you to warranty anything, I asked for assistance in filing a claim. If you never received my other 2 emails at that address do you have a personal email?

Why get upset with me, I am following the steps as noted below.

Update, I sent an email to Exedy. Got a prompt and friendly reply and am working with them to find the issue. The clutch has been shipped to them. I will keep those of you who have this clutch posted.
