i knw this is a dumb question but ive been researching and cant seem to find where the starter is in my 2005 evo 8.. i need to replace it so any tips on how to take it off easily and its location?please help need car up and running asap

 

jack up car and look under the front. its easy to see

 

its directly under the front

 

literally right by the downpipe.

 

make sure you unhook your battery first.
