I wouldn't bother with the cam gears, the 0 degree setting will probably end up being the best anyway. I know somebody with those cams and they tried cam gears and lost power. 0 degree setting netted best results. Of course if you have the right setup you might be able to take advantage of them, but I wouldn't think it's even worth the hassle. Hell, he is making high 700whp range with them at stock settings, so that shows you how necessary it is.

Fre, quit spreading bad gouge. Any motor with k272's will benefit from the use of adjustable cam gears, otherwise they wouldn't exist.

Not spreading bad info, just what I have seen from experience. I did not say they can't help you in any circumstances, I am saying from what I have seen first hand, they either don't help or provide very minimal gains for the PITA it is to dial them in.

As far as not existing goes, like I said, they can help with certain setups/situations (like if you grind your head too many times or have extreme cams that require them), but from what I have seen on a local person's 780whp evo, it did not help and with his 1000whp talon it only helped a little. Like I said, just from my observations of his experience. I would venture to guess he knows what he is doing, since he has run high 8's in his talon and high 9's now in his evo.
