NO Boost after gt35r turbo Install!!

So i had a shop install my Buschur GT35R kit into my 8 and had to custom made a dump tube coming off from the tial wastegate and cut and reweld the flange on the wastegate because it was hitting my radiator. After the install, the shop didn't plug in any of my vacuum lines. Im running on Full Function Boost solenoid and from my understanding looking str8 into the solenoid there is 3 nipples/fittings. the far left i believe goes to the wastegate, the center goes into turbo for boost, and far right should be vented or back into intake pipe. BOV vac line should be plugged into intake mani but for some reason i have no boost. So i drove it home and did a boost leak test and found hella leak from the bushcur LICP and so i thought fix that ok problem solved. But still no boost. The vac on my boost gauge reads around -15 to -20 at idle but when driven it doesn't go past 0 when it should well be in boost. The car drives like shiet. The only thing i can think of is the o-ring seal or seat that goes in-between the tial V-Band wastegate and the flange is probably missing when they put it on so it's hard to build boost. The car sounds like it has exhaust leak but i believe it might be from the downpipe. LMK of what you guys can think my prob can be. Greatly appreciate!!

manifold to turbo gasket possibly, i know you wont be building boost if its leaking there. Also the wastegate may not be holding boost. Check to make sure that boost solenoid is hooked up right as well. I had this problem once but it was from a clogged catalytic converter which didnt allow my exhaust to flow freely.

If the car drives like ****, odds are its more than perhaps a WG seal issue (that shouldn't make your car run like poo in my experience, just not boost). You probably have some type of vac leak or boost leak somewhere else. You're 100% sure no other pipes are leaking?

Maybe they installed the turbo backwards and it is sucking air from your engine instead of creating a positive boost pressure?

Double check your vacuum lines, wastegate and connections between the mani/turbo/Dp.

I hope it is not the same thing but that is what my turbo did when it was blown.

I could go into vacuum and boost to 0. A blade had broken off the turbine wheel and had some fun. It was not smoking or making any noise, but there was a loud pang noise when it happened.

It is very easy to check the compressor wheel and just make sure.

Could be your solenoid.

Left nipple is wastegate, center nipple is boost source (manifold usually...not sure if the Buschur 35R has a nipple on the compressor cover), right is vented. Are you sure it's connected right?

see if the fire ring from the wastegate is there first, u might be hearing the exhaust leaking thru the wastegate dump tube. or you can feel ur hand under the dumptube and see if theres exhaust coming out from there at idle

Boost leak test? Rule out that first. When you say "exhaust leak" is that at idle or just in the power band? As said before, check to see if you're getting exhaust from the dump tube at idle.

no forsure i have exhaust leak from the elbow to my DP because i didn't have a new gasket due to stock had O-ring gasket.. im gonna need 3" 2 bolt gasket but im pretty sure it should still boost... it was a complete swap except the shop didn't know how to connect my vac lines...all lines were just hanging loose so i had to figure out which hose goes to where it should go... so i hooked up the left side vac line from boost solenoid to wastegate, center to nipple on turbo (yes it had a nipple fitting on the 35r), and the right side line back into the intake...and the bov to intake mani... but still no boost... i tried running just the vac line from wastegate to turbo and still no boost... it raises up to 0 on my boost gauge but doesn't pass that... it feels like im running without a turbo or it's hard for it to build boost... the only thing i could think of is the o-ring gasket in-between the wategate and flange on turbo... man i paid 200 bucks for nothing!!! and yea i fixed boost leak from lower ic piping... it feels like the car is running hella rich!!
