Your the closest to English Racing, why not go with them? I love my ER 2.0

To comment on the fp black comment you can still get the JB verison from members off this forum selling them 1k cheaper and get the same effect. if your block is good use it to build a 2.3 or sell it get funds from it and build a 2.4. English racing builds them both but lately there 2.4 builds have been showing out. When i was in your position i wanted a 2.3 just so i have the power quickly but the builder sent me the wrong block and i ending up with a 2.4 the extra parts needed are not that bad and will not even cost you more more then 300 dollars more. Its all now do you want LR or std and what kind of compression. And yes you can tell a difference in a 2.3 car to a 2.4 car i have given several people rides that have br 2.3s and they comment all the time mine is spooling hella quicker then theres does.

good info.im looking to build my block aswell but i daily drive it but want a bad a$$ track car on the weekend.

i was told many different things by different companies as the all have different ways of doing things. i heard i have to make sure i get a certain kind of rod if i street drive which i do.
i would like to get a gt30r or something like it. the fp stock frame is nice but expensive now lol i can pay a bit more for a big kit (might aswell) but want spool to be decent.
if i build a 2.0 i will probably stick with a fp stock frame turbo.

if i go 2.3 which i havnt really looked into all that much i would need to make sure its streetable.not sure what the ideal rod/piston combo would be.

ER 2.4 you will love the response of the 2.4. Also do the AMS balance shaft delete.

Gt30r's really don't make much power. If you go 2.4L you could run an HTA3586r and have the spool of a 30r on a 2.0L. Just some food for thought.

Buschur 2.3RPM. hand down

There is nothing wrong with AMS if you have the money to give away...

We can claim that

BOOSTIN24

If you wanna come out to the Dyno day on the 19th or 20th I am sure I can arrange a ride in a LR2.4 equipped car for you.

Ya that's true . The buschur 2.3 is looking good, probably the way I'm going to go.only problem is I live in Alberta, Canada lol so ER or MAPerformance would be closer to drive down to.

As for the HTA3586r ,what would be the way to go for install? Manifold,lines,02 ,ect..
Reason I ask is because a buddy just bought a ets kit .not sure which one but he is aiming for 600-650 on 94oct pump

2.3L if you have a good core, 2.4L if not. For anything except ***** out dedicated drag cars the extra displacement is sweet.

If you have a good core; The BR 2.3RPM sounds really good.

I run a Shearer Manifold and got the dump, downpipe, and IC piping all custom fabricated. If you know that's what you want to go with, look in the Marketplace as there have been quite a few nice 35r kits up for sale lately.
