Hi...

I have evo 9...the head gasket stays for about 20 pulls of street race then it blows.
Is that normal?
Turbo 6262 billet
ARB L19 head stud torqed to 95 psi
Stock head gasket
No O-ring
35psi 93 octane + meth
aem ems timing 4* to 7*
8300 max rpm

no this is not normal with your mods ..not at all..time to take that head off and get another one in there..was the head machined before you put it on

 

I would say you need to get the head inspected to see if it is warped. Also you might want to check your block to. If ether one of them are warped you will pop head gaskets left and right.
