Problem with the car after re tune
Hey everyone, so I just took my car to get re tuned for e85 and before I took the car to the shop it was running great with absolutely no problems then, after I get the car back that is a different story. I don't want to get into too much detail about why the shop isn't fixing it, since they clearly did something to it but basically they are telling me it isn't their fault and they won't do anything about it, and straight up lying to me. So I'm pretty much on my own. If anybody wants to know the shop, its "Modified by KC" here in Kansas.
Anyways back to the problem, so now when I start my car up cold it makes a ticking noise and the ticking gets louder and faster as the rpm's go up. However the car still seems to run and feel fine other than that.
Once the car gets up to operating temp. the ticking noise is still there however, when I am idling the oil light turns on but is only on at `~1300 rpm's and below. If I blip the throttle it will go away. This only happens when the car is warmed up.
Other than that the car seems to run fine and it is seriously confusing and worrying me.
I am doing a compression test later today to see what that shows.
I was thinking its maybe the oil pump or maybe something internal?
Any insight would be extremely helpful in figuring this out as this is my only car and I can't really afford to have it down for long.
Thanks in advance for any info.
EDIT: Oh also after they tuned it during their test drive they told me the dipstick blew out so that is now zip tied down at the moment.

Don't quote me on this but lifter tick might be the problem. Or worse bearing failure. I'm no professional just throwing some ideas out there. Good luck. How many miles on your car? What's mods?
Only 29,000 miles on it. And its got basic bolt ons, 3" turboback exhaust, hks 272 cams etc.
What exactly is lifter tick? Im still fairly new to evos so i don't know all the terms that go along with them yet

Only tune for e85 absolutely nothing else. Just drove the car today and now its hugely down on power, the turbo will spool up but it feels like the car wont go into boost

I don't see how just a tune would cause bearing failure. Especially right after they tuned it. The dip stick blowing off and you losing a lot of oil and still running your car would be a problem. Is your oil level ok?
Not to mention tuning on E85
Got ya, but E-85 is easy to tune past MBT. Def causing issues and hurting the motor.
If that is the case is the company that tuned it responsible, Nope. But bet your *** if that was the case they would def loose a lot of future business from getting smeared all over the internet

pull your dipstick and smell your oil and check it for lubricity. if it smells like fuel, youve had some fuel slip past your rings and kill the viscosity of the oil. this happened to my turbo altima during tuning. it was running extremely rich and fuel was puddling on the piston tops and slipping past the rings. you also need to do a compression test and make sure you dont have frozen rings or a washed out cylinder wall. if your oil smells badly of fuel, change the oil asap. when that happens, the fuel washes out the thin layer of oil that provides the barrier between your bearings and rods/mains.
OK I've got an update and the news is bad.
Just did a compression test and here are the numbers I got:
90, 75, 80, 80.
Those numbers seem insanely low to me for all 4 cylinders but I did the test twice to check results and got the same numbers both times.
Input?
