VIII gsr engine/ fuel trouble
I have an 03 evo 8 gsr with a list of upgrades done to it previously. here recently after having a boost leak and fixing it, pulling the battery, etc. My car is now throwing massive amounts of fuel in the motor. when i drain my oil, it is very thinned and smells of fuel. Also whenever i pull my plugs, they are caked with black. Not to mention black flecks of fuel and smell are coming out my exhaust. And it will hold a rough high idle, 1500-2000 rpm. I am curious if i will need to check if i have a problem inside the motor such as a piston ring. Or if it is a turbo based issue where its getting lack of air. not to mention my Resurge valve is letting boost out when im on the throttle.

what is your wide band saying, and simple test like compression test would be the first thing you should do. may be with some more info you can get better answers in here, like high fuel at idle or WOT? things of that nature. Good luck
