hey
u will get faster spool up with the ti, i know that. maybe not full boost at 2k though, dont know...i believe some mods to the stock turbo might be worthwhile...a good bridge for those who want to stay basically stock and those who dont....i dont think the dealer would know u did that...anyway, there are shops in the u.s. that does this. dont send it to the u.k....they are notorious for being lackadaisical in getting stuff like that done and shipped back.
and yes, u will still have to fuel it...
question...wont a boost controller help with spool up issues??

BadBoyBeltran has a TME 6.5 ti turbo on his car. Says it spools around 2500 rpm. It also has a bigger exhaust housing (10.5 vs. 9.8) so the top end should be better too. This is the route I plan on going.

That was something I was thinking about also. However, there is a company or two that are working on a bolt on option here in the US. One is due for release mid Feb. Ask around the DSM turbo suppliers...

At the current conversion rate which is one pound for every dollar and sixty cents..

1700 x 1.6 = $2720

Yes, you can send FP your stock turbo and they will rebuild to a Red. Personally, I sent mine to CBRD for the BBK Full+ turbo and I love it.
