I have no doubts that this is a very nice piece. As for all of toxic-fabs stuff, its **** for sure!

This next statement, of course, is based primarily on what this kit cost. To me though, this is just gonna be a lot of money for looks. The stock frame turbos are expensive for a reason, they need no other mods to make them bolt on.

Now your looking at ??? money on the mani and o2, then gotta get custom water lines as well as oil lines. By then, I would think you would prolly be over what you could pay for a t3 ff kit. Am I right? I know a turbo in the front gets mass amounts of air, but is it really gonnamake that much of a difference on a stock frame turbo? Educate me if Im wrong.

Take an fp black, $2500, new water lines and oil lines, roughly 150-200. Your at 2700, now you need this mani and o2, I am postive it will run at least 1300 I am sure. $4k for a ff stock frame turbo setup???

kudos to collin for his hard work and making a first piece in the industry, but I honestly see it as a total waste of money. I just dont see the point?? Maybe I am looking at it all wrong.

Again, I am not putting down Collins work at all, its sick as hell. Just dont understand this mod? lol

^^You wouldn't believe the amount of people that have asked Collin or I for Collin to build stock frame manifolds...these should be a very popular item...This is for some that wants something complete different then anyone else out there OR want to max out their current stock frame setup...

I would be PMing everyone with price right now but I am in VA and I have terrible cell phone service and barely any internet! Ill try and send PMs later when I'm in a better service area!

I built this for people wanting to brake records. End of storey. Obviously its not worth it to you, so don't buy it. People who feel its worth it, can/will buy it. There are some big gains to be had from any turbo forward facing, so will the stock 9 turbo, up to a black make more power or run a faster et? I feel 100% confident saying yes.
Thanks for pointing out that its a waste of money though, figured i would catch a few comments like this. But thanks for you input, all opinions are welcome.

Collin

Obviously you don't and that is why you have posted about it 2 or 3 times already...

I hope to see testing....

Your work is next to perfect man!! Dont take my statements the wrong way. If I decide I want a stock replacement manifold, I will go no where else.

For the record breakers, this will be great. For those guys wanting to go out and make the most power on a stock setup, I see where this is good. I guess i just think of it as a hp point. I would be able to spend the same money and get a 3582/83 ff setup, thats all.

You brought up a point I hadnt thought of. Stock frame record breakers will love this for sure.

Collin, You got so many great products its hard to keep up with. You really need to update that website so you dont miss sum business.

As far as a waste of money, not at all. Spend 1000 on stock replacement manifold or spend a few hundred and get FF. If I didnt love my a/c I would run one.

Kudos for an unique new product. Looks great, as expected from Colin.

As far as setting records, there are a number of threads dealing with whether there is any power advantage to a forward facing manifold. The answer is "it depends". The air stream going into the turbo inlet needs to be smooth and unturbulent. Take off the filter and many turbos lose power for this reason. Same with the size and configuration of the intake tube in front of the turbo. I'd be interested in seeing what you can fit in to the space in front of the turbo to smooth out the air flow.

I'd also want to keep out rocks, large bugs, water, etc....
