I had some bad experiences before with 02 housing downpipes generally, so I would go with stock 02 housing unless you are doing a turbo upgrade...

It isn't an O2 housing downpipe. It is a 3" O2 housing which you can either dump the wastegate gasses or route them back to the exhaust flow. Both versions can be used with the stock downpipe or their downpipe.

our O2 housing will only be able to mate with a 3" downpipe.
if you have someone elses DP you will have to let us know who's so we could build accordingly.

on the bad experience with your DP what was wrong with it and what company made it?
i would like to know so we can provide top quality products.

thanks

I'm interested in the dump version.

I have a question though. If it will work with the stock downpipe, why wouldn't any aftermarket downpipe? The reason I am asking is because aftermarket downpipes bolt onto the stock O2 housing, and your o2 housing will work with the stock downpipe, so I don't see how there would be a problem. I hope you understand my question.

Thanks

Many aftermarket downpipes don't use the stock donut, but instead fits without it.

sorry there was a mis print on our page. the O2 housing will be full 3" so the DP inlet side has to be 3". the stock housing is roughly a little less than 2.25 with the DP being about 2.5. if you have an aftermarket DP that is a full 3" but but has a flat flange and a flex section built-in you will have to let us know so we can delete the extra lip that holds the 3" donut style gasket. and provide you with a standard gasket. i hope this all makes sense and i will fix the web page as soon as possible.
thanks for your reply

Thanks for the respones MalibuJack and evoSPL. Sounds like a greast piece but I guess I'll have to wait to get my downpipe first.

the DP's that we will be building soon will accept a 3" donut style gasket that we can provid. i will probably keep the gasketes separate since there will be tooo many variables.
the O2 housing will be fully polished as well.
we will be working on making a stainless heat shield with some sort of ceramic blanket on the inner side as well. kind of like the old WRC RALLIART stuff. kind of cool.......i hope

How about an option for a second 02 sensor bung for those that are running widebands?
