Yes, you will need a new tune becuase you will be running rich since the new pump will flow more fuel.

But the guys who sold me the pump said its not necessary as the pressure will still be control by a fpr even thou the supply is greater.

Ok, take their advice then. But its either a retune for 300-500 bucks or new engine if you blow your s*** up, becuase you have to dial everything in first, your choice. If you ask a question, then listen to what people have to say, otherwise don't ask.

I am not arguing as i just want to make sure if its really necessary for a re-tune.
You can choose not to share as for your info, your input does mean i must listen.

Btw, i bought it from Real Street Performance.

YES you need to be re-tuned, the car is going to be much richer after the addition of the pump. Find a new tuner.

While you should get a retune for power/gunk deposit/fuel economy's sake, your engine isn't going to blow up if you drive it before tuning it. You don't NEED to retune between e10 and pure gas, or e85 and winterblend eNot85, even though they will make you run a little rich as well.

This thread is filling with fail......

If you are tuned on E85 and switch to E70 you should definitely be re-tuned. The exception would be some lazy *** tuner who didn't take advantage of the E85 in the first place, left it rich and had no timing in it.

If you were tuned on E85 and then went to E70 the would run RICH not lean.

if your going to retune, you should throw some new parts on it as well to get the most out of the retune
