Im stumped! Is it the tune?

LONG STORY SHORT... THE CAR HAS BEEN DOWN FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I WOUND UP HAVING TO REPLACE MY STOCK 2.0 AND I UPGRADED TO A 2.3L STROKER, FP BLACK, 1200CC RC INJECTORS, BUSCHUR DOUBLE PUMPER, SPEED DENSITY, ETC.

I DECIDE TO GET TUNED BY PETEYTURBO, AND I REQUESTED TO HAVE A BASEMAP SENT TO ME, SO I CAN MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARENT ANY LEAKS, AND THAT THE CAR RUNS FINE BEFORE I TAKE IT TO THE DYNO.

HE SENDS ME A ASEMAP, AND AFTER WE LOAD IT ON ECUFLASH, WE CRANK THE CAR OPEN. THE CAR CRANKS AND FIRES UP RIGHT AWAY. IT RUNS FOR 2 SECONDS, AND SHUTS OFF. WE TRIED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES, AND THE SAME THING WAS HAPPENEING. THE ONLY WAY IT WOULD STAY ON WAS IF WE HIT THE GAS PEDAL CONSTANTLY TO GET THE RPM'S UP. AS SOON AS YOU LET OFF THE GAS, IT WOULD FALL FLAT ON ITS FACE.

-PETEY SAID TO FLIP THE CAM TRIGGER 180 DEGREES, AND SEE IF THAT HELPS... IT DID THE SAME THING!

-HE SENT ME A NEW BASEMAP THINKING THAT THE MOTOR NEEDED MORE FUEL... NOT A CHANCE.

-HE ASKED ME TO START THE CAR WITH THE PRIMARY O2 SENSOR DISCONNECTED.. SAME THING

-WE TRIED EVEN A DIFFERENT GROUND ON THE CAM SENSOR... STILL NOTHING!

FINALLY HE ASKED IF WE CAN PUT BACK THE MAF SENSOR IN AND HOOK IT UP... AND IT STARTED BUT STILL WOULDNT STAY RUNNING.. WE TRIED REVING THE MOTOR AND THIS TIME THE CAR FELT SMOOTHER, BUT STILL FELL FLAT ON ITS FACE!!!

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED ANY OF THIS? I DONT LIKE QUESTIONING ANYONES WORK... BUT I REALLY NEED TO GET THIS THING RUNNING. HERE IS A VIDEO OF WHATS GOING ON.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

I just went through a similar experience. If your cam gears have two dowel pin holes, make sure your dowel pin is in the correct hole, or else it will throw the cam timing off enough to barely let it run, like you are describing.

I have stock cam gears... I'll have to look at them.

If your cam gears are stock then that's not your problem. Just thought I'd throw it out there. I'm assuming you verified the timing? If it's off a tooth or so it will behave like you're saying.

Could be a few things. Are any codes being thrown? Try checking the tps or the ground for the ecu if you took it out at all.

Either your cam triggers or a faulty chipset in your key ? Just an idea.

When we keep hitting the gas pedal and the car stays on... There hasn't been a check engine light on at all...

And we kept the ecu connected. It hasn't been messed with at all.

Are you thinking that I change my cam trigger since we put it in and it didn't run right and swapped it 180 degrees and it ran the same?

In the video it looks as if the engine is still turning after it stalls. I would put the stock tune back in and maf and injectors. This way you can check for leaks and then drive to get tuned for SD

Looks to me like the cold start up needs adjusting. If the cam sensor was backwards the car wouldnt even run that long. It would just crank and crank. I would make sure your timing is correct and not a tooth off (real easy to do). If the car needs more fuel, I would make sure that the ve table is correct. I had a problem similiar to this and it was a few different things. It was cam sensor was 180 out, and my plugs were toast. Don't forget to make sure you o2 sensor is plugged in being yes I did forget that and one side of my cop wasn't plugged in.
