t4 versus t3 exhaust housing

hi guys i am interested in talking to people who have done back to back testing on t3 versus t4 housings, i see there are people out there making big power on t3 housings, fp3794 being the prime example, i am looking at doing a new build my manifold is set up for T3 and is a work of art and i really dont want to change it if at all possible, i am chasing 800whp and the other option other than the fp3794 was the likes of a gt4094. i am aware that the technology in the turbine wheel design has a lot to do with it so this is where back to back testing comes in, what are the thoughts of the experts out there?
i notice that there doesnt seem to be AR ratios bigger than .8 for the t3 is this because there wil not be enough tapper in the housing seeing the area is measured on average?
