Evo 9 turbo question
Thanks for the fast response, appreciate it!
Unfortunately I leave for post-deployment leave in a day so there isnt any time. Almost makes me want to stay just so I can finish it. But I have S1 cams on the way so ill try to do it at the same time I swap turbos.

If it came off a 9 and was never installed on an 8 you will need an install kit. Fp sells them for like $100 bucks I think or around that. Reason being is their is a slight difference in the oil/water lines, and the j pipe.

Hell you really don't even need a IX J Pipe if you have a torch and can heat and bend it so it does not contact the starter your golden LOL
Nice kit though as it comes with all washers and new gaskets. But it's not NEEDED by any means
