PTE 6766 vs FP3794 HTA

Guys, anyone has owner any of these, any reviews so far.
Reviews so far for the PTE676cc is by STM and FP3794 is by AWD , both supporting their vendors, anyone else tested them ?

PTE6766 vs 6765 by STM

Precision's latest Turbo, the 6766 is finally here. STM has tested this turbo in the "Ricer" Evo VIII for the 2011 race season before we even knew what the turbo was to be called! We replaced our previous 6765 from 2010 and with this new turbo we would have expected a loss in spool, but quite the contrary, it spools faster with a significant gain in power. So far we have topped the charts out at 846 HP on our Mustang dyno with 1/4 mile trap speeds of 167 mph... and that's the number that matters!
then now the FP3794

The FP HTA™ GT3794R turbocharger is the next step beyond the FP HTA™ GT3586R in power production within the GT35R footprint. It combines the greater turbine flow found in the GT37 with the 90lb/min flow rating of the 94mm HTA™ compressor
Diffrence in Compressor wheel sizes
PTE is 67mm Inducer , 87 Exducer , Turbine Inducer 74mm, Exducer 66mm
FP is 67.5mm Inducer , 94mm Exducer , Turbine Inducer 72mm Exducer 65mm

Any others users running either one of them ?

I wont throw a precision on but I can answer (and have posted a bunch) to how the 3794 works on our cars. The 6766 is new enough I think there are only a handful of people with them on their cars right now. I know of one that went 151.

You mean Pat from FFtec? I think his car has more in it.

846AWHP on a Mustang
vs.
854AWHP on a Dynojet
I'd pick 846AWHP on a Mustang any day. Plus the 6766 made more torque with better spoolup.

If its a proper reading Mustang I would agree. From my understanding Pat's car is at 715whp or so right now.

if asked that too. i think the HTA 86 comp wheel with PTE 66MM turbine wheel would be a nice match.

Yes, FP will upgrade a Precision Turbo to an FP Compressor wheel. Back in the day I had a customer with a PT61 get upgraded to an HTA86.

Thanks!

I guess if you already have the turbo it may not work, I doubt precision would do the upgrade. I know FP will do the upgrade. So if you have a precision you may be in luck!

Best to call FP and see what they say.
