You may look at it as the glass half empty but i see it as half full... think about all the great advertisement money you could get if you send that pic to JB Weld and they sponsor your car. It used to be for fixing stripped bolts, radiators, coolant housings, Honda's, head light mounts, exhausts, and so much more but never a transfer case... until now. =)

Really am sorry to see your misfortune.
I think you can probably get that cover separate and I bet one of the builders such as Shep, Jacks, etc has that part available. If its howling then more than likely its going to need new gears too.

Well look on the bright side, you got the cradle bolt off LOL. On the other hand, not so good for the TC, which really sucks haha. I have a spare TC that needs rebuild (death wine about 60xxx). Not sure how much they go for but we can work something out. PM me if your interested.
