Help me Identify these two pieces please?

Found this line just dangling around while I was under the car the other day.. assumed it was from the right of the red connector. This is under the intake mani looking under the car.

Should I have left it disconnected or is supposed to be there..

Also.. Where can I find this bolt... Dealership didn't even have it.. ( just had the whole assembly for 500.00.. no thanks)

It's a suspension cradle mount bolt that is located closest to both sides of the fenders and the LCA ( it was welded into the car)

The plug/sensor is part of the EGR/Evap something another system. With it un-pluged it should have thrown a code. If it was not then its possible someone deactivated it with ECU-Flash. Just leave it plugged in and you'll be fine.

As for the bolt... you can look in the junk yard in similar Mitsubishi's and you may get lucky (Lancers more then likely, but also maybe a Galant or 3G Eclipse), you would be surprised by how much of that kind of stuff is interchangeable. That or you can try to repair the current bolt. Clean up the rust and grime, buy a Die Thread Repair tool and fix'er up.

a random Thread Repair Tool...

If all else fails I'm sure someone will post up a link to where you can find a new one but if i had to guess I'll bet they want a pretty penny for a new replacement.

Try re threading that bolt and I'll try at a dealership by my house if you want they've been pretty good at getting just single individual parts for my friend when he hit a truck tire on the freeway

The dealership told me that bolt is part of an assembly only since its welded in.. They wanted 500 dollars..

I bought a 9/16's x 4 and 1/2 hex bolt and nut today to replace it (going to try and just reweld it)

let me know if you can find it though!

Would that line being disc cause a little boost leak action?

I ziptied it when I put it back on..

No codes ever.. then again my Service engine light doesnt even flash when I turn the car on ever.

Cannot rethread the bolt.. too far gone.

The plug is for an EGR solenoid. The bolt looks similar to the bottom pivot bolt for the alternator on any 4G63 so if you know someone with spare stock parts, I would check around with them.
