BUTTER in my engine bay? ? ? please help

Well tonight I was just looking around in my engine bay and saw this splattered on my firewall on the passenger side. The best I can describe it is that it looks like semi-melted butter It's yellow and sort of thick. I was thinking maybe its coming from the pass axle boot but I checked it and it doesn't seem to be torn. Maybe the other small cv boot looking thing right behind the axle (cant think of the name right now)?

Anyway, please help. Here are the pics to help out. I couldn't get any of the engine bay because its really dark outside.

thats what motor oil looks like when it gets mixed with water and heater. This could be really bad. Head gasket, water into your oil pan, something like that.

But i have seen that color and consistency quite a few times.

ok well i just checked and dipstick was fully seated and sealed so I dont think its coming out from there. Is there anywhere in specific I should check for this stuff coming out of?

Also, I checked the oil level to be sure and it is still at the max line and looks very clean. I dont know if that info helps at all. Thanks for all the replies so far guys.
