When swapping an Evo 9 turbo for FP Red.

THere is a good possibility all of them are like that since people never take it off after they put it on. I would never know its cracked until I removed it.

I spoke to someone at AWDmotorsports today and they said it was common for a "divider wall" to be cracked and was told to throw it away. Like I said so much for "We have never had one crack".

I do think that Buschur Racing in general is a great company and if I was on the market for a head or block I would buy from them.

Honestly, any relatively thin-wall stainless part will crack at some point whether it be the exhaust manifold, O2 housing, or downpipe. The downpipe has it easier as the exhaust temps have cooled off quite a bit, but still not an easy life. If you don't want your exhaust manifold to O2 housing to crack, use thicker walled cast parts. Even then, push those hard enough and they'll crack too, but in general they are more durable than fabricated parts made of tubing.

For reference I was right, Bpower sent me a PM and confirmed he didn't get the part from us, he got it given to him from one of his friends.............

Also, that is the first one of the housings we sell that I have ever seen crack. I can no longer say it has never happened but that is the first.

As for CBRD having to jump in here with his two cents, the Invidia was the worst power producing 02 housing of the ones we tested, so yes, keep on keeping on. The flow of that part sucks.

DB you've really been letting your temper shine lately. Might want to cool it or you may start loosing some business. By the way, this is coming from an unbiased outsider with nothing against you or your products.

I agree. BPower is actually a friend of mine and he admires or better yet admirED your work. But the way Butcher treats his customers with his smart a$$ remarks is no way to run a business. I seen DB facebook page through a friend of mine and i still dont like the way he replies to his fans or customers or what ever u want to call them with honest questions. Damn DB these people look up to you so stop treating them like #$#$

So let me get this straight. A guy gets a used part from someone, makes a negative post about how it held up and how we wouldn't replace the part for free but forgets to mention he didn't even buy it from us.........

I point out the fact my guess is he didn't buy it from us in the first place and we've never had one crack like that. I also point out another guy complaining about his down pipe probably wasn't bought from us but told him to PM me his info anyway (which he did not because I will not be money he didn't buy it new from us). Then I get accused of my attitude? Hahaha ROFL. What am I suppose to say in these situations? Please call us so we can replace your USED parts for free and I am sorry? Well if that's what you think, please start a business and let me know how it goes.

We take care of our parts and our customers. In this case the guy didn't buy it from us and I see he didn't point it out, so rather than let him bad mouth us I set the facts straight.

If you guys want baby sat and coddled, I AM NOT THE GUY OR THE SHOP FOR YOU and I don't want you to call us or order from us, that's a flat out fact.

If you want quality parts that work and that we ONLY SELL AFTER TESTING TO MAKE SURE THEY WORK, then call us, you'll be glad you did.

Just like CBRD, chimes in here with what he uses, what is the purpose exactly? The thread is titled "BR 02 housing cracked". This has nothing to do with painting cars baby blue and not racing them or gold tape. I'm glad that you happy to offer your customer a part that you've never seen crack or fail, too bad you didn't take the time to actually use your dyno for something and test the part against some others like we did. I also offer a part that up until this thread I have never seen crack or fail, difference is that part OUTPERFORMED the Invidia when it was actually tested.

I'll take the HP gains of the housing we sell and replace it every 5 years if I have to.

Also, as a BTW, we are finishing our most profitable year, again. Business is just fine, we deal with men who like performance and can handle the truth. I didn't open a day care center, I own a performance shop.
