Doesnt surprise me. Good luck on getting it replaced. I tried to have my DP replaced and was just told to buy a new one. Hit up MAPerformance and they will get you squared away man.

I tried calling and e-mailing. Was told that there is no warranty on that item. This is a piece of welded steel and in my opinion should have a lifetime warranty since it cant really fail if made properly.

I will try to have it fixed locally since I will get nowhere by talking to Buschur.

You can't come down on Buschur for this. That's just an e-bay or Megan o2 housing that he bought, slapped his name on and charged you more for it.

Why don't you just buy one from Tiago at Vr-Speed, he'll get you hooked up with the same exact one for cheap, all it is is a megan o2 housing, Buschur doesn't make them and it's a cheap part of choose it's gonna crack, the only difference is the BR racing one with more then twice the cost.

You haters crack me up......I love the industry.

First off, we do not make that part, never have, never have claimed to and I have OPENLY said at least 100 times it's an Ebay part we bring in, deburr clean up and ceramic coat. The coating costs us as much as the actual part. The one you have there looks old as hell. When did you by it? PM me your name and let me check, did you buy it direct from us?

Same questions back to you, did you buy it direct from us? Half you guys try to get used parts you buy from someone else warrantied from us, that's why I am asking.

What is wrong with your downpipe? Not that I'd fix it after your BS MAP statement but I have to know as we would typically fix any of our exhaust products and our header kits also have a lifetime warranty....

Like David-San said - it's an ebay part cleaned up and coated.

to me- thin walled tubular parts in the exhaust stream are always "Wear and tear". you can't expect these parts to survive a very long time. if they did- why wouldn'y manufacturers use tubular steel to make stock manifolds (i.e. which is why your stock evo one is cast iron)

who know maybe your tune made your EGT gases so high that they were hotter than the sun at the time this crack occurred.
