It was an eBay unit that I got for like $60 plus shipping. Worked great for about 2 years with no overheating in Florida summer stop n go traffic

Nope just get a straight section at autozone or advanced for the upper hose and you can still use the bottom one

Koyo makes a half radiator specifically for evos. The oem fan bolts up and all. Part number is HH032412.

This is what you speak of 275-285 dollars shipped.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Koyo-Drag-Ra...item3cbea96e64

From what I found on the specs: http://www.frsport.com/Koyo-HH032412...9_p_18210.html

Features:
• Koyo “Hyper” Series 48mm Core Technology
• Reduced size and weight
• Exclusive brushed aluminum finish
• Nocolok-R Brazing
• Precise Tube and Fin alignment
• Billet aluminum filler neck
• 1/8” NPT Accessory Fitting and threaded plug
• Billet aluminum drain plug

I dont know what "Hyper" core technology is, but I am assuming its not Dual Core radiator. And if that is true then probably the $60 "Honda" ebay special dual core radiator may be better than this.

Any thoughts....?

Just make sure the radiator you choose has dual core and 2 rows. If you do then you won't have any overheating issues as I had a similar setup in stop n go traffic in triple digit temps and zero problems. You don't need an expensive $300+ kit or fancy $250 "hyper" radiator...

Just get the $60 one, buy a straight hose from autozone that is the same diameter as what yours is now, fab up some brackets, and put your fan on and never look back. Then you can enjoy working on your exhaust/turbo areas without damaging the fins or your knuckles

Here's what mine looked like:

That looks like the one. I have no idea if its the dual core you praise so highly but I know I would trust a Koyo product over a "ebay/no name" brand any day. Saving $200 is not worth my engine to me. I was just giving the OP a different opinion on parts.
