Any idea or thoughts?
I agree but it will be more expensive and time consuming at this stage. I have to get the car running asap.
It will take longer to install 4 more injectors ( I can use the stock ones with a HKS fuel rail.
I CANNOT wait to drive the car

So that idea is good, but might happen in several months

i've done more 2,3 stage systems for the big NMCA cars. that was a big prob with them
also have they flow'd the setup to make sure each side was spraying the right amount? its really easy to do off the car.

get a fuel pump plummed to the inlet.
run 4 beakers, one to each of the outlets of the jets. then do a timed running of the fuel side. read each beaker to make sure that your getting the right amount of fuel to each hole

FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!

good luck

tom
Hi Tom,

this setup is just a temp solution, we are going to use some short lines with several more distribution blocks, to make sure the lines are short and equal lenght. Now they are pretty close

After I put a different differential, and a carbon-fiber driveshaft, then I will do some 40 psi, 150 shot runs on teh drag strip:-)
I expect low 9s and possibly high 8s.

John Shepherd's car on 2 liter with a bit smaller turbo: 8.76 His car is 500lbs lighter though. For now

Hey George looks great! Did you get all those problems fixed with it? I heard from Andy that it didn't line up at all and you had to go get it machine shopped to fit yesterday. Does it work now, or at least line up?

Also, do you still need the gauge pod and gauges? When is Turbo Magazine showing up this week? Andy had said he might want some of us up there for one of the shots with your car in front or something.

Good luck and keep up the good work over there! I'm glad you guys are getting recognized by Turbo Mag, it should show some people the place to go and that you guys mean business.

I am waiting on a 37degree flaring tool for my NX lines. So the best case is to have teh photo shoot here on Fri. I will let everybody know about the shoot.
Most probably I will need the gauge pod

When they said use fuel injectors, they meant have a nitrous calibrated fel map activated when you use your nitrous and then just add additional fuel with your 160#er's....They are big enough for it, no prob....I believe Shepard is using 970 cc injectors.

For right now, I have to stick to NX guidelines
I want to do it on stages, not trying to blow up the new engine

I want to see what is the duty cycle of these 160#ers at 40 psi, and then decide on the final nitrous setup. For now, I needed the car done asap, so that was the quick solution.
