Radiator hoses

Well I am having a problem with my lower radiator hose coming off every now and then so I am just going to replace both radiator hoses. Does everyone use the stock hoses or is there a better aftermarket pair I should pick up? Also what clamps is everyone using for them?

I'm not too sure. Maybe the clamp is worn and doesn't have enough tension, but I'm going to replace both hoses and clamps just to be on the safe side.

once you use those squeeze clamps once, replace with a threaded style and if stock rad, remember its plastic so don't overtighten it

Sounds like you are pressurizing the system-- check for foam under your radiator cap...white smoke out the exhaust. Fixing the hose issue may just lead you to the freeze plug issue from the same problem. Point is rad hoses dont just pop off, this sounds like potentially the symptom of another problem.

Hmmm...Any idea what else would cause this? There is no foam on the cap and it doesn't smoke at all.
