Driver side (RHS) coil pack refuses to fire (Coil pack is not faulty!)

Hi guys,

I was trying to install a DIY Cop Kit, I must have shorted something because now my Passenger side coil pack refuses to fire. I've swapped the stock coils back over, tried different ones etc. but the passenger side coil does not fire. It seems to charge because it gets hot but it doesn't want to fire.

At one stage there was a electrical burning smell, I'm not sure if it came from the coil but the coil still seems to work when it is plugged into the working side.

A quick search has lead me to suspect that it might be the Crank Angle Sensor but I'm not sure, could it be the ECU?

The car starts fine and doesn't give any codes.

Just to clarify, it is the coil for Cylinders 1 and 4 which doesn't fire.

Thanks guys, appreciated?
