to start with, car is evo4 with 2.3 stroker. as above, need suggestions which turbo to go

it will mainly be daily driver/street car, revved till 8K rpm max. maby occasional drag strips too. so mainly interested in quick spool-up and torque.

supporting mods are wallbro, full 3" exhaust and hks 272's.

thinking about evo8 10.5 turbo price wise, and need suggestions how will it perform on this setup

another turbo suggestions are also welcome

 

PTE 6262 was a very nice spooling turbo and made nice power or 6765 was even better made more power and the lag was not that bad on a 2.3L

 

With so many options on stock frame turbos that are now being offered in ball bearing, it's hard to decide. There is a few cars out that have the 2.3 with the ball bearing fp black. It seems to spool quick. If not the BBK-full, FP Green, BBK-B, or FP Red are excellent choices especially now that they are in ball bearing form.

If it was my choice I would go for the BBK-B or the FP Red

 

New garret 3076, Hta 3076, or Hta green. Nice power no to much lag!!!
