ef3 or fb black???

ef3 or fb black???

so im still undecided between the map ef3 or the ball bearing fb black turbo.... finally in the market to upgrade and dont kno which to go with ?? looking for good power and fast spool .. less lag ... any opinions please

you will have to give us your target hp. but i would suggest something like fp red, bbk full

there is a big diffrence in price for one, and it also depaends on the fuel youll be using to achive 500awhp...

Agreed, pump gas or E85 sir? If E85 the EF3 would be a great option, if you're planning to run pump gas you're going to need our EF4 to reach that goal. Thank you for your interest and please let me know if I an be of any assistance

ok chris so if i want to run on 93 i would need the ef4 to be able to reach that goal?

im actually hoping on doing two tunes one on 93 and another on e85

Yes sir, I would estimate the EF3 to be capable of 450-475 on pump.

Just throwing this out there.

I made 466 WHP (mustang dyno, around ~520 WHP on a dynojet) on a DBB FP Black, on 93 pump gas, running 34 PSI boost tapering to 29 PSI by redline.

I'm on a fully built English Racing 2.0L, MAP Stage 3 head, GSC S3's, Kiggly valve springs, Kiggly HLA, AMS wet sump oil pan, etc.

The bigger the turbo the easier it will be to hit 500 AWHP. Of course, I am a bit biased towards the FP Black , but MAP's porting and customer service are second to none.

Good point there regarding the dyno differences, I was referring to Dynojet numbers above.
