I believe that you can pick up a Tomei 4g63 performance recirc bov from GroupeS for like $140-$150, looks just like stock and is a direct replacement, if I didn't find my 1g with Dejon Tool kit already this is the one I would have gone with hands down.

 

Hey Thwack...please post your experience with this....I would love the sound and driveability. I know I can simply use a cone filter but I have heard mixed things about this too..

 

well, I'm waiting on the proper adapter for the valve from the company, so it may take a while for me to review it, but search for stealthfx in the forums, there is another member that has it and had only good things to say.

Im using a Greddy Type S BOV. im am VTA and have no check engine lights or bogging. Yes i do have to adjust my driving to ride down the rpm's b4 i go to neutral, but you adjust to that fast. The sound is amazing when it blows off. But from what i hear, if i reset my ecu or disconnect my battery, i will get that check engine light. It is also a easily Tunable BOV, that also is very durable. The stealthfx looks like plastic to me which im sure is prone to leaks. I stick with greddy or HKS. High qualtiy product makes for high quality results.
