Twin Disk Clutch Life Vs. ???

I've been considering swapping out my worn Exedy Twin Disk for a new setup. It sounds like for my needs the Quarter Master may be the best bet. Just looking for other people's experiences with the other options out there, because they seem to be endless.

-400whp

-Must last at least100-150 hard launches only. Car rarely see's anything over 2nd gear.

-As light as possible

-Streetability is not a factor

quarter master will hold more then an exedy twin but they dont last as long. either of those clutches will easily hold 400whp though. my friend actually was running an act hd clutch at 420whp no problem

I had them both. The pedal travel on the quarter master is minimal. The feel is hard in my opinion. Even the Exedy twin disc can fail prematurely if you hot lap it at the track. The heat will eventually warp the metal disc and flywheel surface. Can really tell how long it will last.

i've had exedy twin hd... quartermaster twin... and an ACT HDSS... out of those... i never had a lock out issue like most claim from the ACT... also it lasted the longest.... my car was around 400-420 on all the clutches...
i used to go to to the track 2- 3 times a week... so that's 6-9 launches a week... the ACT lasted 30k... the exedy 18k and quartermaster around 10k...
i did daily drive my car and people tell me that kills that twins...

I've decided to just rebuild my Exedy Twin for now. I'm going to try the QM just before our National Championships. And I'll do a reliability test after that.
