Attention expert welders
Attention expert welders
I'll make this short. I went to a vehicle custom shop and asked the to weld an Intercooler pipe for me that was cut in one section due to a bent and in order to fix the dent, it has to be cut. Now when I went to the shop they said no problem, we'll fix it.
I picked it up this morning and when I saw the weld from the outside it looks decent but now when I looked at the inside this is what I saw.

I told them if they can shave it off because it will cause some turbulence going inside the intake manifold. They said they can't do anything about it and I just have to deal with the turbulence. WTF! they're a custom vehicle shop and they should at least understand these things and they told me that. They then suggested to cut another section shave it off then weld the next piece and shave the rest and I'm going to get changed again. They charged me $100 for this and I expected it to look great but didn't turn out the way I wanted to.
I need you thoughts and advice. Is there anyway a shop can shave those weld stuff off inside the IC pipe without cutting another section? Could they have done better?

im a decent welder not an expert, that looks pretty poor as youve already said, looks like they may have started off too hot and burnt thru then got their heat ok after the first **** up,can you get a round file in there to get the heavy stuff off then clean up with some 3m wire pads,i wont even get into the crappy customer service,id have it redone
