I have a Boomba, haven't tested anything but stock. depends on your goals as well anything under 500whp just stick with stock.

you should be fine with just stock, Im at 600+ but just have an upgraded one for safe measures.

Yeah most of the aftermarket rails have places to mount the sender so it makes it cleaner than tapping the stock. I got the AEM for the same reason...the injector seals that came with mine were junk though and we had to go back to OEM. Hopefully it was just a one off and not a general problem but something to look out for.

I like that AEM is cheaper then the AMS but worried about craftsmenship. So no issues with the AEM?
