evo 8 transmission no quick shift
so i just installed my BR3582R and fic1050cc and got it street tuned on pump... my rev limit was set @ 8200rpm with 272 kelfords and supertech springs/retainer.... but my problem is my transmission keeps locking out at high rpm so i can't shift fast enough... my transmission has been rebuild by FFTECH and i have gone through so many gear oil selections but it is still the same... any advise or recommendations how i can fix this?

Have you contacted FFTECH for their input? Describe your issues and lack of finding an acceptable solution on your own and see what they say or suggest.
Also what kind of clutch are you on and how many miles is on it?

i bought a stage 4 comp clutch with their flywheel and had FFTECH put it in when they did the rebuild but i had this issue even before i took my car to them... i was hoping after the rebuild it would fix the problem... it just seems or feels the teeth/gears/synchros are not lining up fast enough... i haven't check my mounts yet but i don't think it may cause this problem... clueless now...

when engine off goes in smoothly... only locks out after 7k rpms or around-ish and no... double clutching doesn't work as well ...ive tried few other things but im afraid i might bust the synchros again.... i might as well get it rebuild at sheptrans or get a new one

it usually does it from 1st goin into 2nd and 3rd goin into 4th and 4th goin into 5th... i dont usually take it that high on 4th but trying it and yes it does lock out after 7k rpm i have to wait probly half a sec to get into the next gear and i dislike it...it gives me a huge lag
Clutch adjustment issue as it is not fully disengaging. Bleed and adjust your clutch hydraulic system and adjust your clutch pedal adjustment rod toward the firewall until you get complete disengagement of the clutch when you depress the pedal.
sounds like your getting what we call "lock-out" at high rpms...its been known with clutchs like ACT ect. Like twicks69 said, try adjusting the clutch, that helps alot
loosen the 12mm nut on the clutch master cylinder rod by the clutch pedal and turn it counter-clock wise so there is a bit more travel in the pedal. Give that a shot and let us know
