adjust vacuum with balance shaft delete?

Some time ago I was considering the balance shaft delete, since I was pulling my engine. I have it out, but I am not building the bottom end. I am doing cams, intake, injectors, etc. I read that the 272/272 kelfords I am putting in will drop my head pressure in the engine. First of all, is that correct?

Second, does it make sense to try to address that with an apposing mod? I also remember reading that doing the balance shaft delete increases pressure, so I was thinking if it would be logical or beneficial to do the balance shaft delete, even though I don't have a balanced crank, to free up that little bit of power, and help even out the pressure difference from the cams.

The feedback I received from most of you a few months ago was not to do the BSD unless you are running a built and balanced bottom end. One of the Cons was the oil pressure.

Thanks

Bump,

Come on guys, someone educate me on this pressure/vacuum thing I don't understand. If the balance shaft delete increases pressure and the overlapping cams reduce pressure do they go together well? Just trying to figure out if I should do the BSD while I have the motor out. stock block and head with 272 cams.

Thanks for any explanation on oil pressure as a system in the engine.

removing balance shafts will increase oil pressure, but they wont change vacuum at all. cams will lower vacuum but they wont change oil pressure.
