ive wondered how well these work and what kinda gains you can expect from one.. ill be on a 2.1 Aluminum rod motor with a 3586hta so im very curious to see more feed back on your setup.. can you disconnect the vacume and do a back to back test for throttle responce or any increase in spool... honestly if it wernt for the cost id get it just for the sound. great job..

Yes you are correct that it is expensive and in my opinion more than it should be.

Using a Works setup with the modded OEM muffler was my original plans but it was a lot of money to go with that setup at the time but cutting weight and noise was what I was looking for and the Varex setup I'm having made is perfect for that.

I've read that boost actuated valves didn't help power delivery but that might have came from very picky people that only run 10psi on small turbos. I looked for one to purchase last year and never found one in stock. It looks very promising though.

Im bringing this back from the dead...

Any wear and tear results? Did everyone have to install it backwards?

Mine is backwards. I thought the exhaust would heat up the WG actuator and ruin it, but it's been good. I DD with it for a year. It leaks a little since new (rumble), but it's a lot louder under boost

This is a pretty cool idea, I don't have a use for it at the moment but I will definitely use this on a future project
