judgen from what ive read about this guy id honestly be pretty damn sketchy to buy anything from him..if you want to make damn sure your getting a true quality piece id say buy from a reputable vender (English Racing, MAP, STM n so on )

again best thing to do is call a shop that does cam installs/tunes Evos all the time. they will be able to explain in more detail exactly how a certain cam will perform for a given engine combo.

I prefer force performance fp4r

Great power. Perfect idle with mivec.

I have them on my evo 8 also.

But I would personally stay away from RT. He's been ripping people off lately.

He will soon have several lawsuits from people I know..

Go with GSC S2's. They will make good power.

5R require big valve pockets which may not work properly on a stock motor.

They should. Stock pistons are really really close with 12mm of lift, anything aftermarket is normally deeper. As many CP pistons as I have seen, admittedly not much, the valve pocket never looked shallow.

I appreciate all the kind comments. Funny thing is Emery from STM actually tested the cams and ran them in a customer car he had been tuning, building etc. The cams performed very well and made exceptional power considering the mods. I believe that car went on to set the stock turbo record beating Curt Brown. The cams are a quality grind and core. Regardless of all the recent issues and rumors, the RT cam does well in most all street cars.
