Transfer case differences

Ive searched quite a bit and unfortunately have not found the answer.
I noticed some tcases have a splined male end for the right front axle shaft. And some have a female end.
Does this show the difference between LSD and non LSD. Or acd and non acd.

You are looking at pics with the axle stub installed against a picture with the axle stub removed.

there is no difference in how the axles connect to the t-case for acd or non-acd, with or without lsd's.
