I have heard that the K&N Short ram air intake give gains from 12-15 whp!!! Is this true? Any real dyno charts on this forum

 

Those numbers seem a little high, realistically maybe 4-6 hp. Most of these gains are seen in a leaner condition. Turbo spool is suppossed to improve also. The sound of the bov and intake may make it feel like more power though

 

14 is a negative....I have the RMR average dyno gain was 3 hp...it does make the car sound punchy tho....turns some heads

 

Well if you go onto the K&N site they said that it give 14 whp. Kinda weird coming froming such a reptuible source

 

not necesarrily reputable, they just wanna sell stuff.

 

get the K&N, then get the TYPHOON insert and BOOM 30whp... swear to god!!! no, not really, but seriously think about it.. if you wanna sell something, you will "modify" some of the results to make it sell better... so maybe 3-4, but add a 1 in front of them and wham.. sold more!

 

actually the review done by evolutionm claims 11 hp before and after dyno... 12-14 is abit high but i would say 5-10
