Broken stock recaro seat back

That's the only place I've seen that carries Recaro replacement parts. They are not cheap, so depending on the damage, I would try to fix the seat somehow ( post pics of damage if you can)

Usually, its the side bolsters that break on the Evo VIII. I don't think the Mitsu dealers can get those Recaro seat parts. Even if you can find the part, its going to be just as crappy as the original, and end up breaking again. I can't believe how weakly they were made. Recaro should be embarrassed.
You can take the seat apart, and simply epoxy the break back together. I went a little further. Only my driver's seat was broken, but I "fixed" both seats rather than waiting for the front passenger's side to break, too. I made some 1/8 inch aluminum gussets, and drilled 1/8 inch diameter holes in them to allow the epoxy to squeeze through and form a mushroom (kind of like a rivet). I used Permatex Perma Poxy. It specifically mentions ABS and styrene plastics. Others have used JB Weld. That was about a year ago, and there hasn't been any more breaks. Do a search, and you should find more info, and some photos in the How-To forums.

My right drivers side bolster has been broken on mine for about 5 years but never looked into fixing it, pretty annoying though.
The black plastic part on the back of the seat the dealer should be able to replace. Took mine in for warranty work a few years ago. Unless they replaced the whole seat and didn't tell me.
