Definitely not an over kill. Getting ready to put one on my car as soon as I get back.

I like how mine looks and it's never given me any issue. I replaced my stock coils with the kit mainly because at the time I figured it was time to replace the coils. And a cheap upgrade from stock to something that shouldn't need to get changed again until the coils go bad.

The kit is staying on my car with the upcomming 2.3RPM/HTA86 build it's getting.

I decided to get one because it's supposed to smooth up the roughness that I know I probably added with the rest of my mods. and the hotter spark and bigger gap.

and the 10 to 20 hp you're supposed to get... :\

I put a used Spoolin Up COP on about 10 months ago, after I melted two stock coil packs. It's one of the best mods I've done, my car just seems to run better all around. No issues at all. Get one, they're worth it!

Is it easy to tell when a coil on the cop needs to be replaced?

How much remaining life do the used coils on the cops have?
