So I just got around to installing the SpoolinUp COP kit. It took only a few days to arrive after I ordered it. It was well put together and was packaged well. It took longer to remove the old coils than it did to install the COP. Immediately I noticed that the car turned over alot easier and revs smoother.I havent had it on the dyno yet but my guess is that this kit will really shine in the upper rpm range. I'm very pleased with this kit.
Ill post pictures soon...

Glad to hear ya like it! Really makes the car a joy to drive.
I get the used ones from a JDM engine importer. He says they normally have 60k on them. On rare occasions I get a nice set but normally they have a ding or a chip here and there. I run used ones on my personal EVO too, it's all I need for basic mods. I recently found another model that is the same internally so the used ones should always have good stock. Unfortunately because of the coils offered, there is no way to fit the top cover on.
Its a nice set up. I was going to use the Dynatek box with montero coils. but its about 300$ more. As for the coils I was just curious what they are used on normally.
Also I dont run the cover anyway. I know heat kills coils and I dont think that cover on is the best anyway. But I could be wrong. lol.
I may have to pick this up soon. Ive been running 100% meth spraying a single m10 jet for now. Im running a ported evo 9 turbo to 30psi. I think I have some hiccups with the stock coils.

Emperor, part numbers are supplied with the kit. Let me know when you are ready for one.

Does your COP setup require a special cover or will the stock cover fit?
Can you please explain how your kit differs from the others on the market (e.g. SparkTech) ?
Thanks
The stock cover will not fit with kits right now. Soon the new kits will fit under. Used likely never will.

I purchased the COP with new coils. They are denso coils. It really does work great. It revs super smooth. Im going to re-gap my plugs in a few days. Im sure I can run larger gap with this setup.
The coils are made for Toyota by Denso!
