quick question, are you running stock boost solenoid,or any type
of mbc/ebc???.by the looks of this graph I would guess you are
using the stock boost control solenoid. The advance in timing is usually when your boost starts to taper off,and the timing is trying to compensate, but then again,I'm no expert, just my observation from the graph that you have posted.

Hey gunzo,

I noticed your car is JDM, mine as well.

I logged a few times using Auterra (3rd gear pulls), I'd say the ignition curve looks EXACTLY like yours.

It gradually dipped to as low as 5 around 5-6k RPM before picking up again.

I was worried too (in fact when it was as low as 5, my KnockLink registered a knock; other runs yielded a minimum of 6-8)... but I think this is normal.

Need more input from others who are experts in this matter.

My car was stock when it was logged except for Tomei BOV and Monster intake pipe (and possibly Apex'i panel filter I don't remember).

Blitz SBC-iD 2 .. 1.4 bar/20.5psi from 4000rpms all the way to 7500rpms .. .. going to try again .. coz I recall seeing 10-12 on other runs ..

dont think it's normal .. when I hook up my knock microphone .. I can hear distinct roughness as the rpm approaches 4500rpms to 6000rpms ..

Hmm.... 1.4bar held.

I'd look into knocking if I were you, unless you have some sort of ECU adjustment, fuel rail/pump/regulator, or anything of the sort. I assume you run RON97 or RON98 fuel.

ANYWAY, others please post/share your own logging experience.

Logged with AutoTap sometime during the summer. It looks very different than the first 2.

What gear are you logging in? I just got a pocketlogger and hope to be generating some similar data soon. I'm curious to see how my timing varies from stock given my larger injectors and SAFC.

it seems that my timing drops like a rock and then picks up.

this may be due to al 21.5psi boost spike and then about 20psi to redline.

my car seems to be running fairly rich at .980 most of the way and this is with buschur's safc settings.
