TRE still doing trans??
Yes they are still in business. I was just looking at trannys from them a few months ago, but I'd much rather go Shep than TRE personally. I went through about 5 TRE tranny's in my DSM.
TRE has been in the process of moving to a new location and has a TON of machinery and parts to move. Its funny how many people talk bad about TRE, but if you knew some truth, your SHEP trans may not be 100% SHEP parts... just sayin'

i emailed tre 2 days ago and still have not heard back from him and shep emailed me the next day but i do like how detailed tre website is and all of the options he has ive always heard getting ahold of him is the hard part but he has a great turn around as far as that goes.

I emailed him two weeks ago, then again a week ago. I'm trying to not over-communicate and don't want to think my car is special. Hopefully I'll get a response
I remember he was moving back in October 2011, it's been what 5 months since then so I would hope that has been completed.
TRE had done all my transmissions, He can be hard to get a hold of, but his workmanship is worth the wait. He has been in the process of moving his shop and it been hard for him to get back to people. Give him a few days I’m sure he will answer you emails.
Jon is very hard to get a hold of. I found in the afternoon was the best time to call. I called tell I got a hold of him, once you do get a hold of him he explains stuff in detail and will talk for a while.
