What mods for a reliable 350 - 370 hp on a IX

I am looking to reach a reliable 350 - 370 hp with bolt on mods on a IX, and wondering what mods you guys recommend. First off, id like to know if 350-370 hp would be considered reliable for a AutoX / RallyX car and maybe some street use. Would like to get the power going from a lower rpm, not just high end power. I live like 12 hours away from any decent evo shop, so reliability is of extreme importance (within reason for a track car of course) .

What's on the car now
- 58k Miles
- HKS full turbo back exhaust. no cat.
- Perrin Intake
- 20 psi that surges to 25 at higher gears and rpms. ( not sure if its supposed to surge or not ? )

What I wanna do
- bolt on mods - not sure which ones..
- Tune

What I dont wanna do
- Engine Internal mods like cams, overbore, pistons etc. Wanna leave the motor and turbo stock.
- E85
- very loud exhaust noises.
- Loss of low end drivability.

If there are similar build threads, please send me those as well. any advice appreciated.

U could start with an exhaust manifold and o2 dump..somewhat easy bolt ons that will open up ur exhaust flow and ur turbo will spool quicker! And an intercooler and piping. But whatever u do make sure u get a tune!! Most important...

A tune and a downpipe and you will be very close. You dont need an intercooler, but pipes would help. Coil on plug also helps a little. Youre pretty much there with what you have, just get it tuned and it will probably make 340

Add a LICP, down pipe, o2 housing and a tune. Just enjoy the car from there.

Get a tune and enjoy the car, but make sure you get a tune. Did I mention that you should have the car tuned?

- 20 psi that surges to 25 at higher gears and rpms. ( not sure if its supposed to surge or not ? )
Get a tune ASAP. Good luck.

LICP, o2 housing(Megan is fine and no dump, so it's quiet), Walbro255, MBC, and a good tune should put you right around 350 or better on a dynojet with your current mods.

-TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE
-TiTek V2 O2 Housing or Invidia O2 Housing
(O2 dumps are loud and annoying and fit like crap - Megan O2 is a POS and develops pin holes around the welds)
-Downpipe
-LICP (get t-bolt clamps for the rest of your hoses!!!)
-Hallman MBC

Enjoy.

Tune, MBC or EBC, Intercooler piping, intake and some exhaust work should get you right at the goal you want. Not very hard to make good power out of these cars.

I don't know if anyone mentioned tune yet!

And to the others that tell him down pipe, he already has a Turbo back!

Get a lower intercooler pipe.I love my ETS. Also a manual boost controller.
Your IX fuel pump and injectors should be okay for your needs.

you probably need to adjust your wastegate arm length and/or adjust your boost control setup if it overboosts in higher gears.

it shouldn't run this way.
