it shouldn't run this way.
I have a vac hose coming from the intake manifold tee'd and one goes to the bov an one goes to the waste gate controller. I'm guessing this is wrong ? I don't have a boost controller yet. Also I don't see much of a vacuum during idle or during deceleration unlike other turbo cars ive seen I got the car from a lady who didn't know much about anything so I've to start from the beginning.

Reliable:
Intercooler
LICP
O2 dump back exhaust but you can still do well with stock cat and catback
Ported exhaust manifold
coated LICP, dump and manifold
MBC set to 24psi
Good tune

360whp all day on US 92octane dynojet

you can do it with less but i call that pretty reliable for the evo9

From what I can gather from all the posts, I am gonna go with

LC1 wideband
Nvidia O2 Housing
Hallman MBC
ETS LICP
Walbro 255 lph
full exhaust and intake ( already have )

It looks like a tune is not very important, so Im gonna use that money to get a kevlar injected carbon fiber front lip spoiler for added downforce to keep the car planted with all my newfound power....

The gains from the parts you listed are marginal at best on a car like yours. Why a W/B? Do you plant to do some logging, and if you do why not start now and see where your car is at? As you want a reliable car and are essentially starting with an unmolested IX, I'd suggest only adding a MBC and a tune. That's really all you need. Good luck.

Yes, i do plan on doing some logging / tuning for fun. Didn't know its possible to tune without a WBO2 sensor ( I am new the turbo car tuning so Im still learning) . Could you explain more on why the gains would be marginal ? I am also looking at drivability. If stuff like LICP and O2 housing makes the turbo spool faster without sacrificing reliability, would'nt that be a good thing ?
