Replacement throwout bearing broken 63 days

Can someone please inform me of the proper throwout bearing to use with my sig car? As the stock one that everyone told me to get before OBVIOUSLY is not the solution.

I replaced EVERYTHING inside my tranny in December... clutch, fork, pressure plate, ect ect ect... because my throwout bearing went out then and I figured I'd replace everything while I was in there because I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE MY TRANNY DOWN AGAIN FOR A LOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME. So instead of just replaceing the TOB, I replaced it all....

63 days later, this replacement TOB has just broken the arm in the exact way as the one before it broke. Oh, did I forget to mention that I BOUGHT THE CLUTCH FORK STOP FROM STM TO PREVENT MY TOB FROM EVER BREAKING THAT WAY AGAIN? Yea, let's not forget that.

So after this long winded story, can someone please tell me what you're using on your big power evo's as my little power evo is breaking **** like crazy and the stock one is a P.O.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thu mbdown:thu mbdown:thu mbdown:thu mbdown

You lost me. The fork stop does not prevent the throw out bearing from breaking. It is made to help keep the clip from popping off of the pressure plate and separating from the TOB. The only way the fork stop can hurt a TOB is if its installed wrong or not adjusted properly as shown on our site.

As far as what we use for TOB's on high hp cars goes, We use OEM the same thing we use in Every car, high or low HP and have never once had a failure like you are describing.

I recently did a clutch swap using the ACT 6puck sprung, new OEM TOB, and STM Fork stop. The STM unit only tries to keep the TOB from popping off the pressure plate and during normal use should never actually touch the fork.

Can you provide more detail regarding the actual damage experience and perhaps some pictures?

When I first got my Evo 8 I went with an exedy stage 1 clutch 1 week later the throw out bearing broke I would never recommend using a aftermarket throw out bearing as they are all garbage oem is the way to go !
