Cams with or with cam gears

I am looking to pick up a set of cams, my build is basic and a DD

I have been seeing that a lot of cams do need cam gears to dial them in for the tune.

I am looking to a set of "drop in" cams that do not need gears.

Has anyone had any issues tuning the S2 cams with no cam gears?

vs the BC 272's that I read need cam gears to dial in.

Just looking for some advice.

been reading but dont find as much on the gears as I do the cams.

If you have no intention of messing with cam timing, don't bother getting adjustable gears. You don't need to degree in your cams. That's what the dowel pin in the cams is there for.

There is absolutely no reason to run the cam gears.

Stock gear work fine. I have installed Kelfords, m2's, and S2's no gears.

You can change stuff with cam gears, but if it's a daily, don't bother unless you like the looks. Doubt your tuner will sit there and adjust your cam gears for you.

to get the best from the cams and to make certain they are timed correctly you need the adj pulleys no ifs/no buts
